Protection Plan Service Agreement
This Agreement governs subscription-based Protection Plans offered by Fix PC Store. By subscribing, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Plan Overview
- The Protection Plan is a subscription service covering labor costs only for eligible repair and maintenance services on registered devices.
- Parts, accessories, consumables, and replacement components are not included and will be billed separately.
- Coverage applies only to devices properly registered under an active subscription.
2. Device Registration & Eligibility
- Each plan covers a specific number of devices based on the selected tier.
- Devices must be registered in our system before receiving coverage.
- During the first repair, the device serial number and identifying details will be recorded.
- Once a registered device receives a repair under the Plan, it cannot be removed or replaced during the active subscription term.
- Coverage is non-transferable and applies only to registered devices.
3. Covered Services (Labor Only)
- Hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Operating system reinstallation and software repair.
- Virus and malware removal.
- Performance optimization.
- Labor for part replacement.
- Services must fall within standard repair scope as determined by Fix PC Store.
4. Exclusions
- Cost of parts, accessories, and consumables.
- Accidental damage, misuse, liquid damage, or neglect.
- Cosmetic damage or pre-existing conditions.
- Devices with altered or removed serial numbers.
- Commercial abuse or excessive service usage.
5. Warranty & Service Guarantee
- Labor is guaranteed for the duration specified at time of service.
- Replacement parts are covered only for manufacturer defects.
- Warranty is void if damage results from drops, liquid, misuse, power surges, or unauthorized repair.
6. Fair Use Policy
- The Plan is intended for reasonable personal or business use.
- Excessive or abnormal service requests may result in review, suspension, or termination.
- Unlimited services (if applicable) are subject to fair and reasonable use standards.
7. Subscription, Billing & Cancellation
- Plans are billed monthly or yearly and renew automatically.
- If payment fails, is disputed, or reversed, coverage is immediately suspended.
- Customers may cancel at any time. Coverage remains active until the end of the billing cycle.
- No partial refunds are provided.
8. Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate device and contact information.
- Maintain independent data backups prior to service.
- Use devices in a normal and reasonable manner.
- Notify Fix PC Store promptly of issues.
9. Limitation of Liability
- Fix PC Store is not responsible for data loss, indirect damages, loss of income, or consequential damages.
- Total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid under the Plan during the preceding 12 months.
10. Termination for Abuse or Fraud
- Coverage may be terminated immediately for fraud, intentional damage, chargebacks, or abuse.
- No refunds will be issued if termination results from violation of this Agreement.
11. Amendments & Governing Law
- Fix PC Store may update this Agreement. Continued use of the Plan constitutes acceptance of changes.
- This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Maryland.
